Stop Hitler’s “Operation Hummingbird” in Local Politics
Dallas DART Board Kicks Out Renowned Activist for Speaking Up on Issues
DALLAS-How do you know when Freedom of Speech is under attack and basic rights in a Democracy are being eroded?
Just look locally at the how citizens are being treated when they approach elected representatives and appointed boards.
The latest to ruffle the feathers and stifle the voice of freedom is the Dallas Area Rapid Transit Board (DART).
Board officials ignored and muffled renowned Texas activist Lee Alcorn and had him escorted out by DART a meeting by enforcement officers for inquiring about the hiring policy, the alleged violations of rights and treatment of some DART employees and the agency’s bunkering and limiting public communications and access.
“We were put out because we asked simple questions for them to speak to the issues dealing with employees and the public perception about operations within the agency,” Alcorn said. “We are not going to leave these issues alone until we get to the bottom of this and changes occur at DART.”
Alcorn, who is founder and head of the Coalition for the Advancement of Civil Rights, see complaints about a policy from a DART official that instructed human relations department to only hire Hispanics and issues surrounding the firing of a DART employee over a dispute about the policy and other African-American employees who have been harassed or fired over issues without fair and due process.
“We will not tolerate overt racism at this or any other level,” Alcorn said. “DART refuses to treat all of its employees fairly and is not using its own internal process to deal with allegations and grievances.”
DART joins a growing list of public political bodies that include the Dallas Independent School District (DISD), The Port Arthur City Council, The Dallas City Council, The Waco Independent School District, the Irving City Council and others seeking to limit, stifle, muffle, control or shut off communications between the citizens and the people.
This new “hidden” agenda quietly being instituted is the latest modern version of Adolf Hitler and “The Night of the Long Knives.”
According to Wikapedia and the History Channel, The Night of the Long Knives or "Operation Hummingbird", was a purge Nazi Germany between June 30 and July 2, 1934, when the Nazi regime carried out a series of political executions.Most of those killed being members of the Sturmabteilung paramilitary organization.
Adolf Hitler moved against the SA and its leader, Ernst Röhm, because he saw the independence of the SA and the penchant of its members for street violence as a direct threat to his power.
Hitler also wanted to conciliate leaders of the Reichswehr, the official German military.
They both feared and despised the SA and in particular feared Röhm's ambition to absorb the Reichswehr into the SA under his own
leadership.
Finally, Hitler used the purge to go against critics of his regime, especially those loyal to Vice-Chancellor Franz von Papen, and to settle scores with old enemies.
At least 85 people died during the purge, although the final death toll may have been in the hundreds and more than a thousand perceived opponents were arrested.
This trend of governments controlling information is repeating itself across Texas as elected officials are deciding and determining what is important for you as a taxpayer to hear, know and listen to.
The Dallas City Council has limited public comments to the city hall chambers cutting off dissenting opinions from public airing – in essence penalizing the public taxpaying citizens by controlling the free flowing stream of ideas and information in a democracy.
In Port Arthur, the city council stifled free speech because of a stiff unwillingness to accept the truth or constructive criticisms and attacked KSAP (“The Breeze”) radio booting it out of city hall and taking it off the air.
The new Democratic version of “Operation Hummingbird” in America is being shaped by conniving political leaders who seek to develop policies and doctrines that purge activists by discrediting them and strip them of their powers by limiting their voice, access to truth and ability to fight for issues that affect citizens.
According to Alcorn, another concern dealing with DART is the failure of Black members of the board to stand up and speak out about the issues affecting Black employees working for the agency.
“It appears Black board members are tolerating and sitting silent while these issues fester with the people,” he said. “They should be the ones standing up and asking questions.”Alcorn said “Operation Hummingbird” at local levels of government is a threat to free speech and public access and must not be taken lightly."
Its efforts have not only claimed a Port Arthur Black Radio station, got a Black newspaper removed from the streets of Dallas/Fort Worth, controls activists making public comments and manipulates free speech by spinning information that keeps the public dumb and under control.
“The public is not aware that they are being slowly shut out and clamped down on without a fight,” he said. “The sleeping public needs to wake up before it is too late.”
The only way to stop another Operations Hummingbird- “Night of the Long Knives” is for activists and organizations to have their own “Valkyrie” and demand that these tyrants step down and rescind the “Hitler-like” policies and controls that have been sown in our local governments.
